Below are complete results from the September 9th edition of AEW Dynamite:
Chris Jericho and MJF addressed their All Out losses with Tony Schiavone in the parking lot.
Jurassic Express def. Lucha Bros via pinfall in the opening match. Penta El Zero M accidentally hit Fenix with a Destroyer before the finish. There’s dissension among the Lucha Bros, which Eddie Kingston attempts to resolve post-match.
Lance Archer promises he’ll be the next AEW World Champion.
Matt Hardy comes out to the ring and apologizes for what happened at All Out. Reby and their youngest are in the crowd. Hardy says the match wasn’t at all what he wanted it to be, but it’s probably a good thing he’s done feuding with Sammy Guevara. Hardy says that he wants to focus on winning matches and chasing his first AEW title once he’s cleared.
Orange Cassidy def. Angelico via pinfall. Jack Evans was at ringside. Post-match, Santana & Ortiz attack Cassidy until Best Friends make the save. The teams will meet next week in the parking lot.
Alex Marvez eats a superkick from The Young Bucks at their locker room door.
Kip Sabian is out to introduce his best man. Brian Pillman Jr. thinks he’s the best man, but nope. Miro, the former Rusev, is indeed the best man. Miro tells [WWE] that they can shove the brass ring. Miro is officially #AllElite.
In a sit-down, Hangman Page tells Schiavone that he and Omega will climb the mountain again and get through their issues.
No DQ: Chris Jericho & Jake Hager def. Sonny Kiss & Joey Janela. Kiss had a great showing throughout, but his flame was extinguished (literally) before the finish.
MJF and Wardlow briefly discuss their issues. Wardlow opts to stick with MJF.
Jon Moxley addresses Lance Archer as his next contender. Would you bet against Moxley?
FTR and Tully cut promos in the ring. Jurassic Express make their way out and dump a bucket of ice on them. A tag match is made for next week.
Ricky Starks is out dressed as Darby Allin again. Starks promises to kick his ass next time he shows his face.
Nyla Rose def. Tay Conti via pinfall. Nyla continued to attack Conti until Shida made the save with a stick. Nyla Rose is currently the number one contender and a rematch seems iminent.
Kenny Omega tells JR that he’s ready to get back into singles competition.
TNT Championship: Brodie Lee (c) def. Dustin Rhodes via to retain in the main event. Dark Order celebrated with Lee to end the show after Lee low-blowed Dustin.
After the show, Cody announces in a pre-tape that he’ll be a judge on a new competition show called The Go-Big Show on TBS. Premiere date TBA.
