Buy In Pre-Show Match: Joey Janela def. Serpentico via pinfall.

  • Janela got the match started hot by rushing the ring and taking it to Serpentico. Serpentico changed the tide and went up high for a senton, but was countered with knees.
  • Sonny Kiss served as the equalizer against Luther at ringside. Janela went on to nail an elbow drop for the win.

Buy In Pre-Show Match: Private Party def. Dark Order’s Alex Reynolds & John Silver via pinfall.

  • Private Party controlled the match early on. The tide changes in favor of Dark Order, who takes advantage of a miscommunication between their opponents.
  • Private Party almost bounced back, but ran into double team maneuvers for a nearfall. Private Party finally turn things around to land Gin & Juice for the win.

The main card opens with the announce team running down the matches. We head to Britt Baker’s office for AEW’s first-ever Tooth & Nail match.

Tooth & Nail Match: Big Swole def. Britt Baker via KO.

  • Swole takes out Reba in the lobby before searching Britt’s office. Baker sneaks up on Swole and smashes her in the head with her framed diploma.
  • The brawl spills outside near a dumpster where Reba is left behind. Back inside, Baker attempts to pin Swole in an office. They trade big punches and uppercuts.
  • Baker breaks out a drill, which penetrates the dentist chair. Reba runs in with a loaded syringe. Swole reverses it into Baker’s leg. Swole applies oxygen to Baker to knock her out for the win.
  • All three have been stars throughout this feud, and it was only proper for Swole to walk out victorious. A move to open the main card was smart.

The Young Bucks def. Jurassic Express via pinfall.

  • Matt Jackson is aggressive toward Jungle Boy at the start. The Bucks regroup outside and try to run off Marko Stunt. Matt and Jungle Boy do more flipping around before Matt dumps Jungle Boy outside the barricade.
  • Luchasaurus holds his own despite attempted double teaming tactics. Jungle Boy leaps out of the ring, followed by a moonsault from Luchasaurus. Matt super kicks Marko at ringside before Jungle Boy eats a running kick.
  • Jurassic Express land their combo finisher for a nearfall. Luchasaurus leaps out into the crowd of talent. Jungle Boy eats a Super Kick Party, kickout. BTE Trigger finishes the match.
  • Young Bucks aren’t shying away from their heel side, but Jurassic Express continue to impress.

21-Man Casino Battle Royale: Lance Archer eliminated Eddie Kingston to win

  • The winner receives a future World Title match. 14 participants were confirmed before bell time.
  • Clubs: Trent, Christopher Daniels, Jake Hager, The Blade, Rey Fenix
  • Diamonds: Frankie Kazarian, Will Hobbs, Chuck Taylor, Santana & Ortiz
  • Hearts: Billy Gunn, Penta El Zero M, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage, & Darby Allin
  • Spades: Shawn Spears, The Butcher, Eddie Kingston, Sonny Kiss, Lance Archer
  • Joker: Matt Sydal
  • Final six competitors featured Kingston, Sydal, Hobbs, Cage, Archer, & The Butcher. Archer double eliminated Cage & Hobbs, Butcher followed. Kingston took out Sydal. Archer tosses Kingston onto Butcher & Blade for the win.
  • Matt Sydal sadly botched his finisher right as he got in the ring by slipping on the ropes and landing on his back. The home-stretch was fun with Cage, Archer, and Kingston battling it out.

Broken Rules Match: Matt Hardy def. Sammy Guevara 

  • Hardy and Guevara meet outside the Jaguar’s stadium. They brawl in the backstage area before Sammy spears Matt off a forklift. They land through a table, but Matt hits his head off the concrete. Aubrey Edwards checks on Matt for a bit
  • Aubrey Edwards throws up the X and calls for the bell. Hardy is in a Broken state of mind as Sammy is dragged away by security.
  • They meet again near the ring, so the match is restarted. They climb a light tower where Hardy punches Guevara, sending him plummeting to a platform. Guevara is down for the ten-count. Hardy wins and continues his AEW career.
  • Hardy’s Broken character has returned, but the destination to get there was a tad confusing.

AEW Women’s Championship Match: Hikaru Shida (c) def. Thunder Rosa via pinfall to retain.

  • Methodical start to the match, but the pace quickly changes. They trade chops and display their clash of styles. They spill to the outside where Rosa dropkicks Shida while using Shida’s chair for height leverage.
  • The focus turns to attempted submissions followed by strikes and kicks. Rosa’s leaping dropkick sends Shida to the stage. On the apron, Rosa nails her Death Valley Driver, nearfall.
  • Shida nails a meteroa onto the stage. Counter for counter before Shida lands Falcon Arrow. Kickout at one. Rosa reaches the rope to breakup a stretch muffler. Several nearfalls follow.
  • Shida lands the running knee strike to finish a fun, physical bout. Shida’s reign lives to see another day.

Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford are backstage to announce they are preparing for their wedding. Kip says the wedding will be live on AEW Dynamite. But first, there will be a bachelor party. Kip will announce his best man on Wednesday. He holds up a sign advertising his Twitch channel while “This message has been approved by All Elite Wrestling” flashes at the bottom. Shots fired.

Natural Nightmares, Matt Cardona & Scorpio Sky def. Dark Order via pinfall with Dustin going over Cabana.

  • The match starts with pure chaos before Brodie and Dustin are left standing in the ring briefly. Dark Order picks apart QT Marshall until Cardona comes in against Cabana. Brodie puts Colt’s leg on the rope to break a pin.
  • Cardona gets picked apart next as Dustin waits to get in. Dustin finally comes in and hits his signature spots on multiple people. Destroyer on Cabana. Anna Jay confronts Sky, Brandi super kicks her.
  • Sky lands a TKO on Grayson, Uno makes save. Cardona flips out of the ring but runs back in to a powerbomb from Brodie. Marshall does a flip out of the ring. Brodie slams Marshall, Cabana hits a splash, nearfall.
  • Dustin rolls up Cabana as Marshall and Cardona hold back other Dark Order members from breaking it up. Dustin secures the three to conclude a fun 8-man tag. However, Brodie furious with Colt.

Schiavone tells Dustin backstage that Dustin Rhodes vs. Brodie Lee for the TNT Championship has been booked for Wednesday’s Dynamite.

AEW Tag Team Championship Match: FTR def. Kenny Omega & Hangman Page (c) via pinfall to become the new champions.

  • Lots of tension between Omega and Page as expected. FTR take advantage where they can, but Omega and Page utilize quick tags to keep control. Favor goes to FTR as they work on Page for a bit.
  • Omega and Page stay on the same page and work together for a few combo moves. FTR double up on Omega, resulting in a few nearfalls. Harwood traps Omega in a leg lock, rope break. Omega’s leg is effectively weakened.
  • Page reenters the match and flies to the outside with a moonsault on FTR. Omega accidentally nails Page with the V-Trigger. FTR nail the Mind Breaker for a nearfall as Omega crawls to them. FTR hit Mind Breaker again on Page for the three.
  • Post-match, Omega walked out on Page and argued with The Young Bucks backstage on his way out of the arena.

Regarding Matt Hardy, commentary says Doc cleared Matt after his nasty bump. However, word going around is that Matt likely suffered a concussion and is on his way to the hospital.

Mimosa Mayhem Match: Orange Cassidy def. Chris Jericho via mimosa splash

  • Jericho lands a Code Breaker out the gate. He remains in control for awhile, utilizing weapons outside the ring. Cassidy finds his bearings and leaps off of a mimosa platform onto Jericho.
  • The match largely stays in the ring as they go back and forth with covers and attempts to toss each other into the vats of mimosa.
  • Jericho hangs onto the ropes as Cassidy lands a big punch to knock him into the pool of mimosa.

AEW officially announces Full Gear as their next pay-per-view on Saturday, November 7th.

AEW World Championship Match: Jon Moxley (c) def. MJF via pinfall to retain.

  • Moxley controls the start of the match. They spill to the outside where Mox throws MJF into the barricade and works the fingers. MJF switches things up and picks Moxley apart, even whipping him viciously back-first into the turnbuckle. Mox rolls out.
  • MJF’s face gets busted open, dawning a full crimson mask. MJF spits his blood in Moxley’s face as there’s no love lost between them. MJF wrenches on the arm and bites Jon’s hand. MJF hits the Heatseeker for a nearfall.
  • Wardlow tosses the ring in and argues with the ref. Moxley lands Paradigm Shfit behind the ref’s back. Ref counts three – Moxley retains.

Jon Moxley’s next big challenger will be Lance Archer.
