Drew McIntyre will put his WWE Championship on the line against former tag team partner Dolph Ziggler at Extreme Rules.
This comes after Ziggler made a surprise appearance on Raw to confirm that he and Robert Roode (who did not appear) have been traded to the red brand after AJ Styles was moved to SmackDown.
Ziggler credits himself for McIntyre’s success after they had a successful run as Raw Tag Team Champions in 2018.

McIntyre vs. Ziggler is the only match confirmed for Extreme Rules on July 19 as of this writing.
