On October 4, Smackdown will be moving to Friday nights on Fox, and a new logo looks to have been revealed.
Ryan Satin revealed the apparent new logo on twitter, where it is more reminiscent of old school SmackDown logos. The throwback look of the logo may be attributed to the fact that Fox executives want SmackDown to have more of a sports feel to it.
SmackDown will also celebrate its 20th anniversary when it premiers on Fox, and WWE will have some special names in attendance, along with the current roster.
The current announced stars are:
Hulk Hogan, Sting, Lita, Ric Flair, Trish Stratus, Booker T, Goldberg, Mark Henry, Jerry Lawler, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle and more.
