Creative Artists Agency (CAA), an agency representing both CM Punk and WWE, recently reached out to FOX officials about the former WWE Champion working for the company again, per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
If a deal were to be reached, Punk would serve as one of the co-hosts of the upcoming WWE in-studio talk show on FS1 and he would be employed by FOX, not by WWE.
The Observer reports this is something brought up by CAA and not by Punk himself. There is nothing to suggest negotiations have taken place in any form about Punk accepting the gig. WWE sources have indicated to the Observer there is nothing to it.
The WWE FS1 in-studio show is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday nights later this year as part of the new mega deal between the two companies. Renee Young was originally scheduled to host but nothing is set in stone at this point.
