It looks like WWE will hold three different Elimination Chamber matches at the upcoming pay-per-view on March 8th.
Coming out of SmackDown, Lacey Evans mentioned in a sit-down interview with Renee Young that she looks forward to meeting five other women inside the Elimination Chamber to determine who will face the SmackDown Women’s Champion at the biggest show of the year.
Additionally, Sheamus hinted in a promo that he will also step inside an Elimination Chamber match this year, presumably to determine the Universal Championship challenger.
We already know that Asuka, Shayna Baszler, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, and Natalya will compete in a Chamber match to determine Becky Lynch’s WrestleMania challenger.
WWE has yet to confirm the two other Chamber matches, but the direction makes sense. There likely won’t be fourth Chamber involving men from the Raw roster because Drew McIntyre vs. WWE Champion Brock Lesnar is already on the books for WrestleMania.
Stay tuned for the latest.
