Last night on RAW, Baron Corbin beat The Miz and Ricochet beat Drew McIntyre in first round King of the Ring tournament matches.
Next week, Ricochet will face Samoa Joe and Corbin will face Cedric Alexander in quarter final bouts. The winners of those matches will face one another at the September 9th episode of RAW from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The winner on 9/9 will advance to the finals at WWE Clash of the Champions on September 15, 2019.
Tonight on SmackDown, Ali will face Buddy Murphy and Chad Gable will face Shelton Benjamin. Next week, the winner of Ali vs. Murphy will face WWE 24/7 Champion Elias and the winner of Gable vs. Benjamin will face Andrade. Next week’s winners will do battle on the September 10th episode of SmackDown from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The winner in New York City will face the RAW winner at the aforementioned Clash of Champions PPV.
