Awesome Kong hasn’t been actively wrestling in AEW because she’s beat up and there is not a lot she can really do in the ring at this point.
However, AEW sees her as a big draw for their female division so they book her in situations where she is hidden and used minimally. This is why she doesn’t do long matches like everyone else.
Kong, like Dustin Rhodes, is an AEW talent but also works as a coach/mentor.
