Jake Hager agreed not to wrestle with AEW until his next Bellator MMA fight on Oct. 25, reports Dave Meltzer.
Hager’s deal with AEW is to appear on television each week, as Tuesdays and Wednesdays are utilized as his off days from MMA training. The reason he hasn’t worked for AEW is obvious as Bellator doesn’t want him getting injured and jeopardizing a scheduled fight.
Hager, who is 2-0 in MMA, will face Anthony Garrett at Bellator 231 on Oct. 25.
