Viewership numbers are in for the two prime-time professional wrestling series that air on cable each Wednesday night and All Elite Wrestling Dynamite has once again defeated WWE NXT.
This week, AEW Dynamite drew a viewing audience of 1.018 million viewers on TNT. The show was No. 8 on the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic list.
WWE NXT missed the one million mark for a second straight week, coming in at 790,000 viewers on the USA Network. The show was No. 27 on the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic list.
Both shows saw a viewership decline from the week prior as Dynamite lost 391,000 viewers from last week’s series premiere. NXT shaved off 101,000 viewers from last week’s two-hour premiere.
With MLB baseball interfering with the TNT airing of Dynamite, the two-hour airing on truTV drew 122,000 viewers, ranking #126 on the Cable Top 150 18-49 demographic list. Adding that viewership to what the series did on TNT, viewership totaled at 1.140 million viewers, down 269,000 viewers from what the series did last week.
