Jake Hager Makes Surprise Debut At Conclusion Of AEW Dynamite Premiere

Jake Hager, the former Jack Swagger from WWE, made his debut with All Elite Wrestling during the premiere episode of Dynamite on TNT Wednesday night.

After Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz beat Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in the show’s main event Cody came out and took out Jericho. He dropped both Santana and Ortiz. Guevara came out next and delivered a low blow to Cody. Dustin Rhodes came out to make the save.

Out of nowhere, Hager came out and took out Dustin, Cody, Nick and Matt. He hit a big Vader bomb on Cody and powerbombed Dustin on the timekeeper’s table. The crowd chanted loudly, “We The People,” despite Hager debuting as a heel. Cody got up and ate the judas effect from Jericho. The heels posed in the ring as the show faded.

We broke the news yesterday here on WrestlePages.com that Hager could be set for a surprise appearance.

Swagger has successfully transitioned to a career in MMA with Bellator, as he’s 2-0 with his next fight booked for Oct. 25 against Anthony Garrett.
