When Aleister Black was called up to the main roster, fans were excited to see what he would accomplish in the main roster. Sadly, he lost his momentum and has not been seen on WWE television for quite some time.
Aleister Black’s wife Zelina Vega was fired from WWE recently. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that Vega’s firing had no relation to Black not being on television. Him requesting a move to NXT also had nothing to do with her firing.
Meltzer then mentioned how Aleister Black was not a participant in the dual-brand battle royal during the Survivor Series kickoff show. He said that the situation for Black is definitely not good. The WWE heads simply do not see anything special in him.
