– Johnny Gargano is the new NXT North American Champion after defeating Damian Priest in a Devil’s Playground match. Gargano is now the first two-time North American Champion. Despite the win, wife Candice LeRae came up short against Io Shirai in the main event.

– Pete Dunne returned to NXT as a heel by aligning with Pat McAfee, Oney Lorcan, and Danny Burch. Dunne teased making the save for Kyle O’Reilly before turning on him with a chair a shot.
