WWE will continue to air Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-views from the ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, FL.
Both PWInsider and Wrestling Observer are reporting WWE has extended their deal with Amway Center by four weeks. This means Survivor Series will be the second major WWE pay-per-view to emanate from the venue.
The internal hope was to begin running outside venues as soon as next month. However, the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic has made that impossible. WWE’s original deal with the Amway Center barred fans from attending and assuming this agreement is an extension of the original contract, that will likely remain the case.
The ThunderDome has upgraded WWE’s television since its debut. The experience has been so well received, the company did the same for WWE NXT by revamping the Performance Center and moving their weekly TV there.
The 2020 WWE Draft will continue on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw from the ThunderDome at Amway Center. We will have complete coverage here at WrestlingNews.com.
