AEW will be holding a big 8-man tournament in order to determine the #1 Contender for the AEW World Championship. The finals will be held at AEW Full Gear on November 7th.
So far, six participants have been announced for the tournament and two spots remain. The company has one more week to announce the remaining participants.
According to a report by The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, AEW Dynamite’s October 21st episode will include four quarterfinal matches. The next week on October 28th, two semi-final matches will be taking place. Following that, the company will be promoting the finals for a week.
The bracketology has not been announced. So, many are wondering which stars will be competing against each other. The current participants are Kenny Omega, Colt Cabana, Hangman Page, Fenix, Jungle Boy, and Wardlow.
