WrestleVotes has reported on Twitter that “significant changes” to all WWE commentary teams are coming with SmackDown’s impending move to FOX, with sources saying the two-man booth is returning.
The working idea is that Michael Cole will head to SmackDown and Vic Joseph will become the new lead man for Raw.
Hearing that significant changes are coming to the commentary teams once the SD to FOX move happens in a few weeks. All shows will be impacted, including RAW. A source has said the return of the 2 man booth is coming.

The plans as of now for the new announce teams include Michael Cole heading to SmackDown on FOX. I’m also told Vic Joseph is set to become the lead man on Monday Night RAW. Not set in stone, as nothing is with WWE, but this is their working idea.

Obviously things are subject to change at this point, but WWE is looking to make each brand exclusive this fall.
WWE confirmed on Tuesday that Nigel McGuinness will stay in NXT with Mauro Ranallo and Beth Phoenix, while Dio Maddin was called up to 205 Live to call the action with Joseph and Aiden English.
