The finished AEW TNT Championship belt design will be unveiled on tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as confirmed by Cody Rhodes in a sit down interview with Tony Schiavone.
The process of having an original design done was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cody Rhodes is the promotion’s first ever TNT champion as he beat Lance Archer at Double or Nothing back in May. Since winning the title, he has carried an unfinished title belt will silver plating. He nicknamed the temporary strap “Little Ruth.”
Rhodes is scheduled to defend the title against Scorpio Sky on tonight’s episode of Dynamite.
Rhodes revealed in a Tweet back in July the design would be finished by tonight. The new title belt will feature nickel and gold plating
