Excalibur was noticeably missing from commentary on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, which aired live on TNT.
The announce team was comprised of Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone and Taz. It was not mentioned on the broadcast why Taz filled in for him.
Earlier in July, Shiavone missed Dynamite due to his COVID-19 test results being delayed. However, his absence was addressed on the broadcast, unlike the situation this week with Excalibur.
