Is it a work or is it a shoot? Either way, former NXT Champion Adam Cole has issued an apology on Twitter for his actions toward Pat McAfee.

As Richard covered on Thursday, Cole appeared on McAfee’s show and stormed out in a curse-filled rant when McAfee poked fun at Cole’s size. You can check it out in the video player above.
McAfee has been associated with NXT over the last couple years as a panelist. There’s speculation that this was a stunt to set up a potential TakeOver match, but that has not been confirmed.
