Lio Rush made his first post-WWE appearance on Saturday at GCW’s Homecoming Part 1 event streaming on Fite.
Rush was the handler for the doll Yoshihiko in its match against Joey Janela. Rush eventually unmasked himself and attacked Janela.

Rush and Janela have plenty of history dating back to their days in CZW, and they will clash once again this Sunday, July 26, at GCW Homecoming Part 2.
Lio Rush was released from WWE on April 15 and became a free agent last Saturday, July 18. Despite teasing that his wrestling days were possibly over, it seems the former NXT Cruiserweight Champion will continue competing on the independent scene for the time being.
