– MVP’s stock in WWE continues to rise as the company has been impressed with his work both on and off screen. As we reported in Ask WNC, WWE is currently looking to offer MVP a long-term contract extension. MVP believes he can wrestle for two or three more years and wants to transition to a backstage role. He was originally brought back earlier this year to be a producer but the company found a spot for him on TV. He has been an advocate for the The Hurt Business stable with Bobby Lashley and now Shelton Benjamin.
– Ron Simmons was at TV this week, with talk of WWE resurrecting the Nation of Domination stable. What we saw instead was the creation of the aforementioned Hurt Business. There have been a lot of opinions about whether or not WWE should bring back the Nation and it may not happen, with the Hurt Business faction being the result. MVP has had significant influence.
– WWE Superstar Angel Garza and sports journalist Zaide Lozano announced this week on Instagram they are married. Garza proposed to Lozano after winning the NXT Cruiserweight Title at Full Sail last year.
