The Tallahassee Police Department posted a photo on their social media of an officer with what appeared to be the AEW World Title, noting the belt stolen from Chris Jericho had been recovered. AEW thanked them in a retweet on their verified Twitter account.
But there’s a twist. Jeffrey Burlew reports the TPD quickly deleted the post and are now saying they can’t confirm the belt was found and that the case is “open and active.”

For those that missed the story here on WrestlePages.com, the title belt was stolen from Jericho while he was eating at a LongHorn steakhouse in Tallahassee, FL.
