As reported yesterday, Mercedes Martinez signed with WWE and officially made her debut during tonight’s Women’s Battle Royal. We also saw the return of Kacy Catanzaro to the NXT ring during the Battle Royal.
Catanzaro was rumored to have retired from wrestling in September due to ongoing back issues. On October 20th, her profile on WWE.com had been moved from the active roster to alumni.
Both would unfortunately see themselves eliminated from the match, with Bianca Belair going over.
