Some fans were surprised to see Charlotte Flair win the NXT Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36, but there appears to be a plan behind the decision.
According to Dave Meltzer, WWE wants Flair on NXT to help draw in viewers during the ongoing “Wednesday Night War” against AEW Dynamite.
It’s also being reported that Flair will appear on both Raw and NXT going forward. There’s no word yet on how much “double duty” she will be pulling down the line when WWE’s touring schedule resumes.
