Becky Lynch has denied reports she has signed a new WWE contract worth $1 million a year.
In addition to her denial, Lynch states she hasn’t signed anything in years and her WWE contract is coming up soon. Last March, Pro Wrestling Sheet reported Lynch signed a new WWE deal that was expected to give her a significant pay raise.
In storyline while building to her match with Asuka at Royal Rumble, Lynch has claimed she has not signed a new contract and she used that leverage to get the match at the pay-per-view. Obviously it would not make sense for Lynch to confirm she signed a new deal if she’s saying the opposite on television.
Lynch is in the plans for a major program at Wrestlemania so it seems unlikely they would go forward with that if her contract truly was coming up. Her tweet is below:
