Backstage News On Script Changes At RAW, Delaying The Street Profits

Last night’s WWE RAW in NOLA was said to be one of the smoothest running shows in several weeks, per Mike Johnson. According to the report, very few changes were made the original script.

There were plans for The Viking Raiders to do a squash match but that was nixed when the decision was made to put them into the Tag Team Turmoil match.

Speaking of the Tag Team Turmoil match, there was some talk about why The Street Profits weren’t added to the bout to determine new No. 1 contenders to the RAW titles. WWE doesn’t want to debut Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins until they’re over with the crowd even though more backstage appearances aired, reports Dave Meltzer.

Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford will put the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship on the line on this week’s NXT in a match against Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly.
