Sin Cara will now wrestle as Cinta de Oro. The original Cinta de Oro was one of Cara’s idols and died in 2016. One of the original Cinta de Oro’s children gave Cara permission for him to use the name.

Cara didn’t bother to change his name prior to appearing at AAA Guerra de Titanes over the weekend, which appears to be in violation of the 90-day non-compete deal attached to his WWE contract.
WWE officially released Sin Cara earlier this month.
