Following up on an earlier item where Jorge Arias appeared at AAA Guerra de Titanes over the weekend and used the Sin Cara name, he did not obtain permission from WWE.
Alrias was officially released from his WWE contract a couple of weeks ago. However, it contained a 90-day non-compete clause and he does not own the trademark to the Sin Cara name. WWE owns the trademark in Mexico and it does not expire until 2021.
It seems as though Cara could have a legal situation on his hands if WWE chooses to pursue it.
