Below are news & notes coming out of this week’s WWE NXT:
– Tom Phillips filled in for Mauro Ranallo on commentary.
– Bobby Fish was pulled from the NXT Tag Team Championship bout mid-match by William Regal and was replaced by Roderick Strong. The Undisputed Era still retained. There’s no word yet on Fish’s condition.
– Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain has been announced for next week’s NXT. It was noted that Priest suffered cracked ribs during TakeOver: WarGames, but is still cleared to compete.
– The challenge has been laid out for Rhea Ripley vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, but there’s no word on when their match will take place.
– This week’s pre-show dark matches saw Raul Mendoza beat Arturo Ruas, while Santana Garrett defeated Deonna Purrazzo.
