Here are your complete WWE Draft results, in a color coded spreadsheet for your convenience! The lists that talent are in below are based on their official “home” prior to the Draft according to WWE (Those unshaded were not officially drafted):
There are a few interesting points to be taken from this as well:
- All but 3 of the Hispanic/Latin talent are now on Raw (Gran Metalik, Kalisto, and Lince Dorado are the exceptions)
- Only 10 talent were “called up” from NXT, 5 for each brand
- Only 11 male talent officially changed brands
- The Women’s Division did a near flip of talent to each brand, with 50% of Smackdown going to Raw
- Lana was not officially drafted, but with current storyline, we should expect her to switch to Raw
- Maria and Mike Kanellis were not drafted due to requesting release from the company, again
- While 205 Live does air it’s own show (for now), the Cruiserweight Championship has been folded into NXT. For statistical and analytical purposes, we are including those talent on NXT.
- Jimmy & Jey Uso were omitted from the draft due to legal issues and lack of direction
- Naomi was omitted from the draft due to health and personal issues (link above with USO’s)
- The reason for the “blockbuster trade” was to balance out the Women’s Division. Without that happening, Smackdown would have only had 8 women to Raw’s 12. This was very likely planned by WWE in an attempt to draw viewers to the debut episode of WWE Backstage.
The following may appear on both brands for the time being, so long as they hold the corresponding Championships. Upon losing, they will be held to the brand they were drafted:
- R-Truth (24/7 Champion)
- The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka & Kairi Sane (Women’s Tag Team Champions)
We should also mention that these may not be the final placements of talent. There are rumors backstage that trades may be announced on Friday during Smackdown, which would seem likely.
