Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger will face Anthony Garrett at Bellator 231, according to ESPN.
Bellator 231 will take place from the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT on Oct. 25. The bout has a good chance at airing on the main card, which will broadcast live on the Paramount Network.
Swagger, whose real name is Jake Hager, is 2-0 after making his MMA debut at Bellator 214 in January. He’s beaten J.W. Kiser and T.J. Jones both by submission in the first round. WWE released him in 2017, as he’s made independent pro wrestling appearances and worked for Lucha Underground in addition to focusing on MMA. He’s 37-years-old.
