Major WWE Announce Shakeup Planned – RAW Is About To Sound A Lot Different

WrestleVotes reports the current plan is for the WWE RAW announce team to be changed to Vic Joseph and Dio Maddin (a/k/a Brennan Williams).

WWE will apparently be looking to do more of a “hard brand split” following the Draft in October as they look to designate between all three of their brands – RAW on USA, SmackDown on FOX and NXT on USA.

The plan as of last week was for Michael Cole to move to SmackDown and Joseph to go to RAW from 205 Live. Corey Graves will reportedly end his weekly double duty position to just call SmackDown with Cole.

Renee Young is expected to host the weekly WWE FS1 studio show on Tuesdays, which will air live from Los Angeles. She’s been a name rumored to go to SmackDown, although we do not have confirmation about that at this time.

There is no word on what will happen to Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton, who currently work with Graves calling SmackDown.
